Robin Mouquet is a bakery owned by the a pastry chef that has worked very closely with the world-renown legendary Pierre Hermé, the "Picasso of Pastry".
Our friend referred us to Robin’s pastry shop as we were browsing the fine pastries in town. The online business is well-established through a proper website and social media channels. We ordered three different kinds and were amazed by their beautiful presentation. The basket passion fruit was delectable, filled with chocolate mousse, almond praline cream and passion fruit jellies on top. We liked the spongy texture of hibiscus vanilla, which has an interesting combination of vanilla hibiscus mascarpone cream, crispy almond tuile and hibiscus glaze. The last one was the best one and we both agreed that Robin has the best choux in town. The choux had a light and crisp outer shell and a delicious, soft, creamy, custard-like inside.
