Pizza 4P's

"An Earth to People restaurant on a vision to Make the World Smile for Peace, one pizza at a time. Earth to People is our commitment to serve safe and fresh foods directly from Mother Earth to you."

ABOUT

After moving to Vietnam, Masuko left his job as a Country Director of a Venture Capital Fund and together with his wife, Sane Masuko, they set up Pizza 4P’s from scratch. The name Pizza 4P’s is a short version of “Pizzas for Peace." Pizza 4P’s operates with a Farm-to-Table concept: homemade cheese and local ingredients and vegetables are freshly produced in Dalat; pizzas are baked in a kitchen theater. More importantly, with the spirit of Omotenashi, which means unconditionally incredible hospitality in Japanese and seeks to welcome guests from the heart, Pizza 4P’s has become famous not only for its high-quality menu but also for its excellent customer experience.

Review

We chose to dine in one of 4P’s branches located in an alley on Hai Ba Trung street. The restaurant carries its signature interior design with a rustic-industrial vibe on the theme of black and grey. The little green garden under the stairs leading to the entrance stole our hearts. Noticeably, every 4P’s kitchen’s layout is an open space that gives us a raw view of the pizza-making process. The staff was quite friendly, and professional. As we requested, they helped us to arrange a small cake as a little birthday surprise for our friend. Regarding the starter, we ordered a Kale salad mixed with house-made lactic cheese and caramelized nuts. The dish was delightful - a balanced texture of fresh Kale, soft-creamy cheese and roasted crunchy nuts. One of the things we love about 4P’s is that you can create a pizza with the combination of two different flavours. We went for half kale with house-made lemon ricotta with olive and caper sauce and half 4 mushroom pizza. The mushroom one was interestingly outstanding as we could sense the rich flavour from a mix of different types. Meanwhile, we were not that impressed with the kale one as the taste was quite plain. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner.

Which elements impress us?

4P’s has an interesting menu that presents a wide range of unique toppings inspired by Vietnamese and Western cuisine. We love their concept “from farm to table" - most of the ingredients are organically grown and carefully selected. A consistency in high-quality standards is the reason 4P’s became famous and adored by pizza lovers in Vietnam.

Which elements could be improved?

We wish the kale pizza could be more flavourful with a different sauce or extra cheese. Other than that, we were happy with our dining experience and would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.
