Laang is an Asian-fusion, vegetarian-friendly restaurant in Saigon. We fresh ingredients sourced locally for all-day healthy dining experience. The name “Laang” is a re-adaptation of the Vietnamese word “lặng yên”, which means being still and calm among chaos. We strive to make it a space for peaceful reconnection, where people connect meaningfully with others and themselves via healthy food. Located right in the heart of Thao Dien community, Laang focuses on providing healthy eating and drinking experience for progressive families, expats, and local residents.

Situated in a quiet street Đăng Hữu Pho in D2, Laang restaurant appears as its name - a state of peace and tranquillity amidst Saigon’s hustle and bustle life. The restaurant is a milky white two-storey villa with beautiful dining outdoors surrounded by a garden landscape full of tropical vibe. The interior design demonstrates an elegant and luxurious concept with a touch of Vietnamese-inspired decorations. The staff was professional and attentive to our needs. As for the starter, we ordered Laang’s style mixed wrap and rolled vegetarian. The plate had a delicious assortment of spring rolls, crispy rolls, and deep-fried rice cakes served with brown rice and avocado. We ordered next the mixed vegetable dumplings; they were pretty tasty, wrapped in fresh cabbages and filled with mushrooms and tofu. Finally, the fried tofu dish was delectable; the century egg especially gave it a strong taste yet made it special.
