The cozy-chic Kitchen by the River takes the open kitchen concept to the next level by placing the action at the center of the space. The unpretentious experience invites guests to dip spoons into saucepots and savour the aroma of bread coming out of the oven. Reminiscent of home kitchens, the restaurant serves a variety of familiar western and Vietnamese dishes served with an extra touch. Sitting at Kitchen by the River, guests are invited to watch the sun-coated Saigon river wistfully slips past and savour heritage cuisines, served to perfection.

Kitchen by the river is located, as the name indicates, next to the beautiful Saigon river in Mia Saigon - Luxury Boutique Hotel in District 2. The restaurant is divided into two dining areas, each of which exudes distinctive vibes in primary olive green, grey and white tones. The exterior is a perfect setting for our Sunday brunch, giving us a tranquil river view and a thrill of summer breeze. We loved the Art Deco style that brings out a lavishly chic interior design and cozy atmosphere, from the geometric rattan chairs and sophisticated kitchen appliances to transparent glass doors. The staff was hospitable and professional. We ordered pear salad, mushroom risotto and a side dish of parmesan fries. The salad was fresh and delightful, nutritiously combining different legumes with a touch of sweet pistachio. The risotto was deliciously creamy and rich in mushroom flavours. We were generally satisfied with our lovely Sunday brunch.
