Dalcheeni is a hidden gem situated on a quiet street in district 1 area, but we find it easy to follow the map instruction and locate the restaurant. After entering the main entrance, we instantly feel a pleasant and romantic atmosphere by the formal setting and modern interior design with a touch of Indian inspired decoration. The deemed light effect and glamourous bar corner exquisitely elevate the cozy ambiance and classy apperance. The restaurant is truly authentic, from the Indian staff that warmly welcomes and provide us with menu instruction, showing attentive attitude throughout our dining experience. As for the starter, we ordered Mushroom kurkure - deep-fried crispy stuffed button mushrooms dish. The mushroom was nicely seasoned with the Indian herb but it was little bit salty, for those who eat quite plain like us I guess. Next we had two different curry dishes carrying their own unique flavour. The Phaldari kofta curry had a pretty orange color from an interesting combination of raw bananas and Spanish dumplings cooked in onion, tomato and coriander curry sauce. It was a delectable dish delivered a unique taste and flavor. Meanwhile, the Pindi chole curry - a dish of chickpeas slowly cooked with dry Indian spices had an intense spicy and stalty level for us. We ordered Tandoori roti and Paneer kulcha to eat with main courses and they went perfectly with the curry dishes. We can feel that the bread were well-baked with high quality flour and standard technique from Indian culture.

The menu consists diversed authentic Indian dishes and its quality is exceptionally outstanding.
We wish the Mushroom kurkure and Pindi chole curry dish could be less salty. Other than that, we were quite sastisfied overall.
