Review

Blanc. Restaurant Saigon is located at the end of a quiet alley on the busy Hai Ba Trung street in District 3. The old building from the French colonial period gave us a wave of nostalgia amidst an eclectic collection of antiques and artwork. The Indochine style of exquisiteness and coziness touched our hearts and brought us closer to the life and work of the most charming hearing-impaired employees. We find it peaceful and joyful looking at artistic paintings on the wall, ancient furniture, and a lovely table setting. The staff was friendly and professional, offering us a unique order experience with some simple sign language gestures. We order three vegetarian dishes - Mozzarella cheese salad, gnocchi and vegetarian gyoza. The salad was tasty; a good mix of fresh veggies and creamy mozzarella balls. The gnocchi was delectably well-prepared with an innovative combination of ingredients, elevated by the butter garlic and honey miso sauce. The vegetarian gyoza had perfect crunchy texture, filled with well-seasoned mix of mushrooms and grilled eggplants.
