Au Parc is located, as the name indicates, next to a park, in front of the Reunification Palace, next to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The restaurant has a well-organised layout with different space options - a little terrace with vintage chairs and tables in front, an indoor bistro-style on the ground and a spacious inspired Middle Eastern vibe on the first floor. The old frame window catches natural lighting blended with dim indoor lights, creating a cosy and peaceful ambience. The staff was amicable and professional, quickly arranging a table during the peak lunch hour. We ordered Mezze and Sergius sandwich. The Mezze plate consisted of small portions of falafels, dips and Middle Eastern salads, served with flatbreads Different flavours ideally come together as a nutritional balance on a single plate. The dish was delectable; a good mix of avocado, fried eggplant and Baba Ghannouj sandwiched in a slice of crispy sourdough bread.
Mezze (dips, falafel balls, olives & Middle Eastern salads with flat bread)
Sergius (avocado, fried eggplant & Baba Ghannouj on sourdough)
We like the inspired Middle Eastern interior design with many ancient paintings beautifully decorated on bare brick walls. The menu serves a diverse range of Western dishes and healthy drinks, making it a perfect place for weekend brunch or romantic dates. Also, the food portion is quite huge.
We are satisfied with everything. The restaurant might get crowded during lunchtime on weekdays, so please reserve a table in advance.
